The unsleeping beauty

Meet Alina Naveah, this little cutie was a whole new challenge for me, she absolutely refused to go to sleep (okay I got a few minutes) but once she woke up it was game over. I photographed Alina when she was just 7 days old, she is the daughter of one of my closest high school friends, and I was honored to get the opportunity to photograph her & visit with an old friend!

The Photo Booth!!

On Saturday Lalo and I got to test out our photo booth for the first time.. and it was a blast!!! We had so much fun at Ernie's 40th Birthday Bash and from the looks of it so did everyone else! Here is a few of my favorites from this weekend!

Bella's Birthday Pics

This morning i took pictures of my friends beautiful little girl Bella (what a fitting name). She is such a cutie but i can never get her to sit still for too long, she'd much rather be off exploring! She is just about to celebrate her baptism and first birthday!

Graylodge Senior Session

This weekend I got do a very special senior session! First off I had the pleasure of meeting Becka, a beautiful country girl from Gridley, she was so much fun!! not afraid to get dirty or climb up in a tree or anything, every once in awhile I would say "now get serious" and she would just crack up laughing, It was great to be able to capture those natural smiles. Second, I took my first trip to Graylodge Wildlife Habitat, the mosquitoes were biting, but it was absolutely gorgeous! If you haven't been there I definitely recommend taking a drive over there, It's amazing to see how much natural beauty we have right in our back yard. The best part was that Becka's grandfather had photographed and done articles on Graylodge, which made this session just a little extra special.

Melissa's Tribute to Grandma Joyce

My friend Melissa recently contacted me about doing a photo shoot in honor of her grandma Joyce and the tattoo of her grandma's rosary. I was very excited about this shoot because Melissa has such a unique and fun personality! I have to be honest.. when she first contacted us I didn't know how I was going to work a photo session based around a tattoo, but I take it all back because Melissa totally rocked this session!!

The Little Raider Fan!

Recently I introduced you to sweet little baby Adan, what i didn't mention is that he's the littlest Raider fan ever! The other day I got a call from his daddy asking if I could print a couple of HIS favorite portraits so he could get them autographed at the Raider signing!! So I did 2 11X14 mounted prints, and as if they weren't cool enough.. Adan is certainly going to cherish these forever!

Cake Smash!!

I recently had the pleasure of taking my nieces one year portraits!! At the end of her session we did a cake smash...and unlike any one year old I've ever met she did not want to smash the cake, touch the cake, not even taste the cake! We all offered her a little encouragement and support (yes it was good) and in the end we got some adorable pictures! Not to mention all the great practice she got for her party the following week!
