There must be something in the water, because it seems like everyone I know is having babies! This is baby Jude, he is the sweet new son of our friends Amanda and Rob. Isn't he adorable! We had some branches and stumps left over from when we cut down our trees last year and i'm so glad we did because what a perfect set up! We will see how my hubby feels when I let him know that we are going to have to hold onto this stump =0

Live Oak Senior Rep {Live Oak Senior Photographer}

Jessie is one of our class of 2012 Senior reps, and he is into just about everything! Skateboarding, basketball, football, guitar...yep he's pretty awesome! We had a traveling session to the skate park and our private urban location in Yuba City. It was pretty much a blast!

We have had a busy couple of weeks here at Special Moments Photography, These girls were so much fun and little London was a super busy little bee. There was plenty of room for her to run around though at our private location in the Sutter Buttes.

Im a little behind on my blog posts being I just photographed her beautiful new son! Sarah is not only my neighbor but also a long time friend, so I was very excited to do these photographs for her. We had alot of fun traveling to Marysville, then to Yuba City, oh and lets not forget the pit stop for Ice Cream! hey what can I say..when a pregnant woman wants Ice Cream, you give her Ice Cream! {although I wasn't arguing any =)}
I loved her outfit choices and the fact that she wore her husbands wedding shirt and tie made her photo's that much more special! I will be sharing their new baby boy Romans pictures soon!

A country wedding

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Landon's wedding. I first met Sarah only a few weeks before their wedding at her shop in Live Oak, Stage Family Treasures. Sarah is a country girl, her wedding dress was only the second dress she had worn since the fourth grade. As a matter of fact i'm not sure Landon was super excited to be wearing a tuxedo either, but they both looked gorgeous. I loved how Sarah was willing to trek through the mud just so we could get that perfect shot and how even though Landon does not like his photo taken he went along with it just to make his bride happy. I could tell how much this couple loves each other just by the way they looked at one another. Congratulations Landon and Sarah!

A Winter Wedding

When we were first asked to do Olivia and JJ's wedding pictures I was both excited and nervous at the same time. Olivia has been a long time family friend, or should I say my husbands sister from another mother. The wedding took place on my birthday, and what an awesome gift to be able to celebrate my day by taking part in their big day. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Cal Neva Resort in Lake Tahoe. I loved how much history the hotel had and the views were absolutely stunning! We are very lucky to have shared in such an important moment for one of the most beautiful couples that we know.

pure sweetness

Photographing beautiful little babies like this makes me think of when our kids were first born, so sweet and innocent, totally dependent on us. They grow up so fast, and although I've enjoyed every stage of their lives, there are times when I wish I could have just a moment of that pure dependency that my little ones once had for my husband and I.
I photographed this beautiful little girl when she was only 10 days old, she was part of a newborn model call that we recently held. We had a long and sweet session, there is no rushing these sessions. I am completely on there schedule.

A little stubborn

From the moment I met TJ I knew he was going to be a stubborn little guy, he was only a week old but so strong, and so alert. He knew that he didn't want to be curled up into a ball or swaddled, hes a smart guy! I couldn't take my eyes off him for a moment because he was so busy lifting his head and trying to push himself off of the blankets. I enjoyed photographing TJ and I look forward to photographing him in the future.

The beautiful mama to be!

Robyn and I met for the first time last week, turns out she has done photography also! We had a lot of fun going from location to location, and she was certainly a trooper as I dragged her through the fields. I look forward to photographing Robyn's new baby girl in the near future!
